Before June, 2015, GMS model, Layla Morales had allowed very few photos of herself to be seen publicly other than the hundreds of selfies she had so carefully scrutinized. It took over four months of talking, calling, and nearly begging to get Layla in front of my camera. But from her first professional shoot it was like Layla was unchained,. Just look at this photo and you’ll understand how personally satisfying it has been for me, bringing the amazing women of the GMS to the public eye. But it’s not about me, it’s all about the spectacular women of the GMS.

It has been my profound pleasure to have discovered a number of spectacular models during my time as a photographer and the Great Model Search (GMS) has afforded me the opportunity find and develop some amazing talent. From my unbelievable “class of 2011” came Ms Solid Gold, who, when I found her, and for the nearly ensuing two years , I couldn’t publish 90% of the work we did together because she was completing her 24 years of service in the U.S. Navy. This photo, taken during our very first photo shoot together, and her first professional photo shoot ever, convinced me she would be worth the wait, no matter how long it might be. Thank you, Gold, for your service to our country, for five years of spectacular work together, for your amazing and inspirational spirit, and for a very special friendship.

GMS model, Darling K is a maverick. In addition to taking on modeling at 50+ years of age, she’s also taking on the world of broadcasting with her weekend radio show, MDK Radio. She’s also managing some musical acts and is becoming very involved in the music and club entertainment scene in southern California. Our Darling is smart, multi-talented, and driven to succeed.
